Hey looking at doing my first build. This is my plan build.
Anschutz 1712 G-28 Action in 22lr, Anschutz Barrell threaded, 18''X .70''
MTD LSS-RF Gen 2 Chassis Cerakote FDE
MTD Fixed Standard Rifle Butt Stock
MTD 20 MOA rail
MTD Rear Bag Rider
MTD Pistol Grip
I already have a Vortex Strike Eagle 4X24X50 MOA scope , and Vortex rings.
Does this look ok, I am shooting out to 300 yards, with a lot of this shooting off a bench.
Any changes I should make , on a fixed budget this this is my limit for spending.
I already have an Annie with a 64 action that I use now.

Out of curiousity what would you consider a REAL rifle. Im not being sarchristic and am truly interested in your opinion. I have read most or maybe all that youve wrote on this form and can tell how knowledgeable you are. Im still interseted in acquiring a REAL rifle. I would appreciate your recomendations or any advice you can offer. Thanks Chris
 
I stock anschutz 1416 heavy barrel shoots amazing. I was originally planning on putting it in a chassis but the factory stock is just too damn pretty and it already shoots amazing groups for a model 64 based sporter
