New Bullet Feeder

I had posts about hearing protection to use at the range and questions about a gun transfer and they were both moved to off topic and I think they are alot closer to general firearms questions than a buller feeder has to do with action shooting games

Well, congratulations. You're wrong.

mine went out yesterday:dancingbanana: , only 2 weeks after I ordered:D . I've talked to a few other people about the feeder and they have all said pretty uch the same thing. At first they were pissed off that they had spent so much on pvc pipe, but once they set it up it was the greatest thing since Dillon.

Just came in today, had to laugh a bit when I saw it up close but the thing works great. Roger came up with one hell of a nice product, the price is up there but quality isn't cheap. He solved the ball bearing issue by putting a cover on the newer units. I wonder how long until Dillon buys him out.

what caliber Madness? and do you have pics of the cover for the ball bearing?
I took a dremel tool to my collator as I was outpacing the feeder with 147gr JHP's. I slightly beveled the edges of the slots and it works better now. I think I might do a little more though.

40 cal, no underfeeding issues with 180gn Excells of Montanna Golds. I had to adjust the flipper just a tad, the factory setting was flipping the right side up bullets up side down every once in a while. Here's the bearing fix, looks like a pipe end-cover.

The thing cost as much as my press and looks pretty Fisher-Price but I love it. If you run a 650 or 1050, do what ever you need to do to save up the cash for one of these, cause you won't regret it. You can get a #### load of bullets, primers, powder, and brass for the same price but this thing gives you more time to do every thing other then loading, which is well worth the price to me.

The biggest benefit of this thing, at least for me, is that it put the novelty back into reloading. I'm real bad for waiting untill the last second to make ammo, I made my ammo for last years tri-angle on Saturday morning right before we drove up. Today for the first time in a couple of years I have over 1000 loaded rounds sitting around waiting to be shot.

Aside from the GSI using it's own toolhead and the Bulletfeeder uses your existing toolhead....

That was the most obvious difference.

The whole feeding mechanism is smaller though..

Anybody has one with a 650 ?
