I finally received my bushmaster.. What seperates it from your average rifle is it's a bullpup m17s!

Also has about $600 in K&M mods! A beautiful crisp trigger top and bottom rails and some internal work!

Needless to say, Im quite jealous.

I love these guns, especially with the K&M mods. Wish they were more common in Canada. I'd like to get one but I don't want to go through the work of importing...the internet scares me.

The polymer and the entire rifle feels super solid and very very heavy! Even compared to the m14 I'm used to it's fairly heavy. It points fairly naturally although as a tall person I find it to be incredibly short. I run guns was used for the import and it was bought from a shop in texas for a handsome price

Why? Why not? Seeing that that's the company that actually makes this particular firearm, I guess one doesn't have much choice in the matter.

Welcome to the m17 club! I love mine. Went with a Bushnell AR series 1-4x illuminated scope on mine and it works well.

How common is the M17 in Canada??

Getting more common. Currently the ones that are in country have all been imported by IRG save for some that may have come in sometime ago and just be hidden away in private collections.

IRG has brought in one or two for sale, but the majority are imported by them after private purchase off of gunbroker or similar.

K&M will modify them before IRG imports. Buy gun, send to K&M for mods and K&M will send to IRG for importation. At your cost of course.

Guns can be found for 800 to 1000. With mods the guns cost is 1800 to 2000 ish.

I gave Glocks a chance and find out with the proper mods, it is a fine pistol but since then i did find and bought some L9 A1 and L40 A1 Steyr pistols and.... I better stop here... JP.
