Just ran across this promotional offer from some Quebec Sports Stores:
1. New Bushnell Elite 4200 with Rainguard 3-9x40 for $349.99.
The purchase comes with a free Bushnell Digital Trail Scout camera (p/n 11-9600) valued at $200 and a Bushnell Jacket valued at $150 for a total value of $350. This camera is no longer being made but is very similar to newer ones available except for some of the features.
It is a low resolution (VGA - 640X480 pixels) at 0.35 MP but more than adequate to monitor wild life. It has a built-in flash and is fully programable. It uses SD memory cards (inexpensive) and combinied with low resolution results in the ability to store a large number of pictures on the typical memory card.
The jacket is based on availability and cost $15 for handling.
The Bushnell Elite 4200 in 3-9x40 is a new line of scopes slated for some where between the Elite 3200 and the 4200. You will notice that the magnification range is 3 to 1 compared to the regular 4200 series which has a 4 to 1 mag ratio (2.5-10x40). All the other features are supposed to be similar to the 4200 series.
I have tested the camera and I'm impressed with the ease of use, the quality, and especially, its potential.
Stores in Quebec selling this package are associated with Ecotone and the ad can be found in the Sentier CHASSE-PECHE (Sept 2007). The sale started Sep 1 and will last until Sep 30th or as long as the supply lasts.

PS. I haven't seen it but I believe this offer might apply to the purchase of any Elite products but I stand to be correct on this
