Do the MX1 versions vent gasses at the 3 & 9 O'clock or are they angled a bit to get more gasses to the 2 & 10 O'clock? They look like they would.

I have another break right now much like the MX2-ST (but not the MX2-ST) on my winter camo .223 bolt action but it's throwing a little bit too much snow from my ground blind positions where the muzzle is just above the snow bank.

The MX-1 Micro might interest me if it vents a bit more upwards. I am using a muzzle device specifically to get gasses to the sides, not for the recoil reduction and/or flash hiding: downwards throws snow everywhere and upwards can cause vision issues through the scope.
