So me and a buddy both bought a set of Mossberg 500 camo shotguns from the shotgun forum in here. Its a 3 barrel system with a 24 inch slug barrel,24 inch field barrel and 28 inch turkey /goose barrel. Comes with 4 different chokes as well as fibre optic sights.Its a sweet little system to have but...here's the question...
How the hell do you install the fibre optic sights??? Both bird barrels have twin bead sights installed and it looks like the rear fibre sight can be slid from the back of the vent rib up to the rear bead sight...but also looks like it will scratch the hell out of the camo job on the barrel.Got me beat!!!
As for the front sight it looks like it would snap over the vent rib but I tried and with out a pair of pliers I dont think I can get enuff pressure to snap it over to lock it in place....I tried the mossberg website and there is nothing covered there on this at all
