Guys & Gals,

A Canadian company called Insite Arms (you probably know them from their "Heathen" line of brakes) are coming out with a new action! This looks like a great option for the PRS crowd - it has a 60* bolt throw for really fast bolt manipulations (similar to an AI or Badger action). Other spec's listed below. This is exciting news for those that are in the market to build a rifle for PRS type shooting - if I didn't already have my PRS match gun built I would be giving this action a good hard look.

Shamelessly stolen from their post in their dealer forum:

Features Include
-Integral 20MOA rail
-Integral recoil lug
-3 position/six lug 60 degree bolt throw
-M16 style extractor
-Rem 700 SA footprint
-Nitride finish
-Interchangable bolt knob / handle

The above picture is one of our prototypes; there are still a few cosmetic changes and functional refinements being implemented including fluting of the bolt body

Pricing and expected date of release will be posted soon

We should have pricing posted in the next 2-3 weeks
The long action will follow; we will have a better estimate of a timeline in October

Very exciting to see so many Canadian actions being produced lately! With the K.S. Arms and Ultimatum action that makes for 3 different Canadian 3-lug actions to pick from plus the ATRS actions. Excited to hear about pricing.

I was monkeying around with that action the other day, one finger bolt operation, just clicks to lock and unlock with hardly any vertical movement of the hand necessary. About as close to a straight pull as you can get. Made my surgeon action feel like a rusty savage action...
I'm in with both feet if accuracy is on par with the defiant's, surgeon's, etc.

I keep reading and rereading your post. Very but very interesting. I think the good people at Insite Arms should brace themselves because they can expect a slew of orders as soon as the action is available.

As they say, the line is forming on the right ...
