New case lube?

I was at Wallmart the other day and came across a spray can of jig-a-loo spray. It's a silicone based lubricant so not petroleum based and it seems to do the job. At just a few bucks a can I was wondering if anyone else has used it before and if there was a disadvantage or problem in using this as a case lube.
 
I've seen guys on youtube using a type of hydraulic fluid for this... I can't say that it's ok... I don't know.

I am surprised no one has either said yes or ridiculed the question yet.
 
Ok, in fairness to Case Slick and other spray lubes, they are good for quickly lubing a whole bunch of brass. I have some I'm trying to use up, and I just used some to lube 50 brand new Lapua .308 brass so I could partial size them. Lots quicker than individually applying Imperial to each case.
The downsides are: it's messy, it stinks, it gets in the primer pockets if you lay them down and spray so as not to get it on the shoulders, and it's bloody expensive. Approx $10.00 for a 4oz spray bottle which will do for several hundred rounds, as opposed to the Imperial, which goes for around $8.00 and will likely last longer than you do. :D
 
I use PAM. Put the cases in a ziploc baggie, squirt some pam and give em a shake.

After sizing i run them through my tumbler to remove the oil. Works fine and is cheap.

I tried it and prefered my waxy rcbs case lube so I stuck to that.
 
Another vote for Imperial sizing wax. Best there is! I am on my third tin, and I have been using it for about 20 years. I also reload a lot of ammo, so it's obvious that it lasts a long time. I notice that the newer tins are larger than the originals, so that is only a bonus. Regards, Eagleye.

That they are. On my last 'shopping trip' in the Edmonton area, I picked up a few tins, kept two and gave two away to some shooting buddies. That's probably the last I'll ever have to buy.

Where it really shines is in the minimal amount required to do the job and it really comes into it's own in some of the more concentrated efforts in case forming. Prior to using Imperial I used Lyman which wasn't too bad and RCBS. The RCBS lube is one of the few of their products I don't like. I found it to be too sticky and a little more difficult to remove. Before I was able to obtain more Imperial when I was running a little low on it, as a bit of a cushion I picked up a container of Hornady Unique Case Lube. With what little of it I've tried, that to seems to be pretty good.
 
There are two parts of the equation. First, is is fast and easy to apply? Second, is it easy to get off after sizing?

I put brass in plastic pail , smear Lee case lube around the inside edge, install lid and shake. This will do 300 pistol cases or about 100 rifle cases, in about 30 seconds.

The Lee comes off easily with a paper towl. Wiping brass is the aprt i dislike.

I have can of Imperial. Sure is small! Never ued it. Don't know how. How is it used??
