new CC ar-15... break in?

Well, I seriously have zero clue what I should be doing to break in the barrel? I know on bolt actions it's shoot one clean one and repeat.

Reading online everyone varies, some suggest taking green scrubie pad on a cleaning rod and putting it in a drill.

Some do the bolt action barrel break in.
Some just shoot 100 and clean.

I'd like to extend the life of this rifle. As well as keeping it accurate as possible.
What should I be doing to break it in?

Clean it before you take it out. Load mags, then fire...Your break in.

I think young privates abuse these Diemaco more then a avg shooter and still awesome shooters. They get abused by steel rods, brass jags, Careless, Dirt grime etc.

The barrel is cold hammer forged and the bore is chromed and the chamber is polished. The firearm has already been fired in the factory as every one is tested with 17 rounds.

There is no break in required and your manual does not specify any break in procedure.

Wipe of the preservative oil, pull a patch through the bore lubricate as per the instructions and fire.

actually been proven by mcmillan that breaking in a barrel actually causes more harm to the barrel than anything.
