New Colt Canada Guns Destined for the UK

Colt Canada is advertising an L119A2 variant of their L119 rifle intended for UK special forces. The rifle features a monolithic upper receiver, new prong flash hider, ambidextrous controls, and a partial 1913 rail handguard. No word yet on whether these rifles have been or will be adopted by the British armed forces.

Personally I'm not sure what's custom about magpul, but that's their gig not mine.

When they're thinking about selling to civilians . . . that monolithic upper looks pretty slick

UKSF have been looking at adopting a 7.62mm rifle. It has been reported they are unsatisfied with the 5.56mm.

Thanks for posting TV-PressPass, I really like the look of the Carbine.

How sweet would a Colt Canada C? in 7.62 be. If the AR soon becomes NR they wouldn't be able to make enough of them for the demand if they were reasonably priced.

If they become NR we won't be able to find any AR parts for years.
I am not one to believe it till I see it but would welcome the change.
