I just checked a local dealers website and they have a new Colt Frontier Scout 22 with a 4 3/4". First time I've heard of them as I haven't seen any buzz about them here. Anyone handled one? It was listed at $449.00 so not a bad price if it's any good. TC

Care to share who's selling in the GTA? I'm looking for a SA revolver....

Is it new or the "New Frontier" Colt does not list a current New Frontier in .22lr .44sp or .45Colt only. Expensive.
I have a feeling your are looking an an older used Colt for $449....

It must be one from the 70's, do you have the serial number, does it come with the box, the extra 22 mag cylinder?

Is it case hardened?
I picked this one up a few years ago on the EE with a spare buntline barrel, It's a nice shooter!

I think Dante's had one for sale. I also have a couple of the New Frontiers from the 70's in 22 LR and 22 Mag. These were the 5/8 sized ones. Same frame size but different guns then the NF 22'a. - dan

5/8th scale!? Must be teenie...I'm hesitating on buying a 7/8 scale thinking it will be too small (without actually handling it)
I've handled the Ruger Single Ten Stainless and find it "small" although it has some good heft to it.
Anyone know if I'd be correct in assuming the Ruger Single Ten is a 7/8 scale?

There aren't any pictures so I can't tell. It's in Gobles in London Ontario. I don't mind the Frontiers but I'm partial to the Peacemakers. I have a 1956 Ruger Single Six and it's one of my favorite shooters. TC

I'm sure than he means 7/8, (Dan knows his stuff pretty well) as they are made on a 7/8 scale of an original Colt SAA.

These are excellent little Colt's. They seem to sell for around $500 used. One fellow on this site was asking $750 for a new in the box one, around a year ago.
