Forget about it friend.
You think if gatling guns were legal in Canada, certainly CGN would have a section just for them on the EE.

Colt has limited runs of these. And IIRC, they are not really considered full auto/class 3 by the fed's in Washington.
I think Colt has realized they have been naughty to Colt handgun enthusiasts in thier past. And trying to make up for it somehow.
For things like dropping all DA revolver manufacture in the late 1990s and ignoring the civilan AR market for about 10 years or more. lol....

Edit: Plinker 777......good one!

Cool Gatling Gun! I think the closest I will get to seeing it is on TV like I did the other day :)

i may have seen the same program a while ago. it was taking out a small grove of trees or something. up to 800 rounds/min of 45/70 would do the trick!

I talked to the company that makes then at Knob Creek shoot they year before Colt purchased the retail rights for all they make. They company still makes awsome reproductions of Gardner and Nordenfelt guns. Before colt purchased the distribution rights, the makers also would sell you a " do it yourself " kit of the rough castings and machined parts and let you finish it yourself. They're even prettier in person!

Now why wouldn't the RCMP like a gun that fires 800 rounds of 405 grain bullets a minute. Just can't understand it. Not at all reasonable. Sure does look purty though.

Nice. That would have been interesting. Can't imagine what one of these would go for. 50-100K?

Seems to my (possibly unreliable) memory that the number 36 000 was involved, and the parts kit with unfinished castings was about 12 000. Of course, now you have to purchase from colt, so they add they're mark up to that. Mechanically the nordonfelt and gardner guns where more interesting, but the gatling has curb appeal, everyone recognizes it.

very interesting. was not familiar with nordenfelt

the version they make is a bronze frame, highly polished like the the main casting on the colt gatlings, very attractive. only big difference between the nordonfelt and gardner is that one used a lever stroked fore/aft to cycle the breach blocks, the and other a crank shaft on a handle out the side. Gatlings cooled better for longer sustained fire where the others fired each barrel once every rotation/cycle. All very interesting....chain guns are essentially the second two driven off a motor
