New Complete Uppers

That one inch is something like an extra 40% dwell time. Makes the difference between a finicky gun and one that just runs no matter what.

Exactly, it can account for almost 400 feet per second more velocity.

The problems with 10.5" are a thing of the past, even Norinco can build a reliable 10.5" AR these days.

I have no concerns with operation. It is the dwell time that attracted me to the 11.5"

I see....well that was what we were strongly recommended to do for the American market....

I can appreciate that. You are in the business of making $. If you made an 11.5" I would buy it, if that accounts for anything in the Canadian market? Special order possible?

It's funny, because you came onto CGN asking what we wanted to see. I went through this thread and 2 people specifically asked for 10.5" while 13 asked specifically for either 11.5 or 12.5 yet you make only 10.5? Makes perfect sense to me. Why bother asking?

That's a subjective statement. If your talking a complete factory upper, then yes, there usually isn't a problem. The problem comes when building a frankengun with barrel from this guy and a carrier from other company, at which point the 10.5" and shorter systems are finicky.

.

I'd like to see a midlength, or even full length railed handgaurd that can take the place of the carbine length one on the Sig 516's you had/have.

Oops...wrong thread.

10.5 with round sides..similiar to the evo gas piston uppers. I had no idea you had gas piston uppers...I missed out.

make a 14.5 or 16 mid length gas or 18 inch full gas length upper .. .223 sucks ass in barrels shorter than 14.5 . waste of powder .. , your better of with a pistol caliber carbine in barrels shorter than 14 inch .
