New CSA Carbine On The Way

So I finally broke down and ordered the last 11.8" CSA carbine in 7.62x39 from SFRC.w:h:

I have a couple of questions for those who have them already:

1) I want to put a fixed stock on it for our local service rifle shoots, do I need a longer screw for the wood stock than the folder? I am planning on buying a beaver barf 858 stock and painting it, will I run into any fitment issues?

2) What are people using for a soft case? I have a 36" UTG case for my AR that I like (despite being UTG, it is a decent quality case with good foam and zipper). I would like another of these, but can't find them anywhere, so I either need some direction to find stock or an alternative. The case must fit the rifle with the fixed stock on it, with an OAL of about 30".

The fixed stock uses a much longer screw. The folder screw will not work. If you go with beaver barf, make sure you get all the metal hardware with the stock.

Or you could go with an M4-type stock adapter.

That was really the direction my question was heading. I will be sure to get all the hardware with the stock when I find one.

I like the look of the beaver barf stock over an M4, so that will be my first attempt at it. These things are like big lego sets, so I may end up with an M4 adapter at some point anyway.

I went with an AR stock adapter as well.

I might have an old beaver barf stock with hardware laying around. Shoot me a pm. I found the beaver barf stocks to really hammer my cheekbone when shooting.
 
Just make sure you locktite the M4 style lock nut when putting it on your CZ. They seem to come loose at the most in opportune time.

I drilled a hole in the bottom of the adapter through the tube. I run a pop rivet in there. Or you can stake the adapter to the nut.
