New custom build Ron Smith Gain twist - break in questons

Okay, I get it. Kinda like broaching. Wonder what that tool looks like tho. Easy? I doubt it. In the hands of skilled craftsmen, it may be 'run of the mill' but not easy. At least to hold tight tolerances. Does he actually do this or are you just speculating? I wonder how many others do this? Usually, it's just drill, ream, button or cut, then lap (if they lap) - correct?

Trust me, after rifling a couple barrels with him, it's easy.

Well all thanks for the advice - turns out my scope was abit loose, just tightened everything up ang groups much better now - excellent for the conditions - hope to take it out for a walk down the range this weekend, see how it does properly sandbagged etc... you know everything possible to take operator error out of it - then the reloading starts :)

Once again thanks to everyone for you help & advice - very much appreciated!!

Also must say again How happy I am with my "new" rifle, steve holbourne did an awesome job and I am very happy!

BTW if anyone is at the shoot with steve and ron pass this on please!
