I just thought I would see the response on some new CZ pistols that will be here. These pics were emailed to me late last night and are a sneak release. These are the Canadian edition CZ-75 Shadow one model is stainless and the other a blued model with red grips with the canadian leaf . There is also a Gunsmith tuned (IPSC) version as well that is blued. I have not got all the exact details yet on these pistols other than the info I posted in our forum on the pre-order, but will gladly update this info to you guys as it is given to me. If you need a price for these please go to the link in my signature and it will be there or under our forum Arma-Coat Finishes.Your feedback would be great.

this is all the info given to me late last night. At this time these are hot of the press so to speak, so if there is more logo's or anything I will post them or any other important info.

Just picked up a regular Shadow at CRAFM for $717.00 plus tax. Xmas promo. You can do a lot with the extra $400.

I was thinking the same thing!

What makes these worth that kind of money?

Blued instead of the painted finish isn't gonna do it for me. :(

Edit: That still looks like the same painted coating, and the SS looks like the CZ Nickel.

they look nice, but I kind of think I'd rather tape a picture of a maple leaf onto a regular one, and spend the extra several hundreds of dollars on booze. or pop tarts.

I am curious too as for what other changes are there for the money,All I got so far are the pics and model #'s of these pistols. I will definately update this when I get more info.

Looking at the pictures more closely, it seems that the "Blued" model isn't even blued at all and it is just the same coating CZ has always used.

The Stainless also looks to be more likely the Nickel plating they have used on the CZ 75's.

Definitely not worth the extra cash. f:P:

If I was a dealer I wouldn't be stocking a lot of these unless you are prepared to deep discount the price. For $400 the Factory is going to do what to an already great trigger that most of us can't take advantage of anyway?

CeeZer has it right. Spend the $400. on ammo and practice.

Take Care

Bob

Seems kinda expensive for what it is... is the stainless one really stainless or just nickel coated? It looks like CZ's nickel coating?

Is it only the grips that make them the "Canadian version"? Is there any other sort of mod, special marking, tuning, or something? Cause otherwise I would just buy the regular one and slap the grips on it, save myself 300+..
