NEW CZ Shadow "Canadian version"

Well if the maple leaf was engraved on the flame or slide, it then is a true Canada verson. I can put a maple leaf sticker on any of my gun to make it a Canada verson too. CZ's thinking kinda interesting.

I think having leaf on the grips just makes Canadian edition GRIPS not the gun. ;)
Ordered my Shadow from CRAFM on Thursday for $717 THAT's a deal!
 
Yes there has to be....like maybe a 2-3 cases of "Canadian" ammo?

I was interested until I saw the price....$400 (actually more when you put 13% on top of the extra $400 - so closer to $450) more than any other Shadow?

That will buy a lot of other stuff, not to mention you will never get your money out of it on re-sale - just my opinion.

I dont think they will "sell out" overnight
 
I shot the new 75B Shadow last summer and it sells for around $1,100 and in my mind would be worth it as there is no equivalent less expensive model and it does come with a very sweet trigger and no FLDC. The gun is directed at the IDPA SSP division where it makes weight out of the box. The regular Shadow doesn't make weight and must be put on a diet.

If this gun is one that has gone through the CZ Custom shop then perhaps it is worth the extra $400. But with just the Maple Leaf on the grip panels, well those are very expensive grips.

The Canadian edition.. and the Shadow-Mate (IPSC tuned version) is a collaborative effort between CZ, the team at CRAFM and one of the Canadian CZ distributors.

The guys at CRAFM will post the exact details this week. I do believe CRAFM has a sample of all three models on display as well... or they will very shortly.

Also, they are not blued or stainless as mentioned.. it is the same black or silver painted finish as on the regular Shadows.
 
Have to say I am not impressed with the price difference! I actually like the look of the standard CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow much better. Are the red grips aluminum?
 
Spoke with the guys at TargetSports today, and have been told there is a nice trigger work and other tuning done on these "Canadian" shadows. More details later this week...
So it looks like the price might be well justified! I am quite sure that the nice tuning on my shadow plus some extra spare parts will cost me very close to the price difference and if Canadian tuned edition is packaged right it might be a good option after all!

No disrespect, but what is CZ75B Shadow?
Shadow never had and will not have FPB.

Angus is gonna try getting Combat II to start rolling, and I'm sure he's gonna get it IDPA approved - no Pinto in equation... And Combat II is gonna be even better than 75 Shadow!!! It's gonna make weight, be DA/SA, more upfront weight than 75 Shadow or Combat 85, no 'gimmiky' adjustable rear sight...

Can we cancel black flies at next IDPA Provincials? :D I still have blood stains on a couple of t-shirts I don't wanna part with.
