Hello fellow cgners! Got a question, took my new m305 out to range today for first time and could not get the rifle to cycle at all. Other than that riffle worked flawles. My question is what could be issue I dismantled riffle and did full clean then used CLP for lubricant I know the manual says grease but I had read a previous thread that people are using CLP. Also tried multiple kinds of ammo. Any help be appreciated guys thanks!

Is the spindle valve off?

Use grease. Not CLP.

Edit: The slot in the valve needs to be vertical like in the picture below.

I use regular wheel bearing grease. The gun will heat up fairly quickly. If the tip above doesn't work and you don't see something wrong mechanically I'd try some different ammo.

As above, closed spindle valve or blocked spindle valve.

If your using the gun for hunting and only shooting 10 rounds a year you might be OK with CLP or frog lube.

If you're going to shoot more than that any wheel bearing grease will do.
