CUSTOM FEATURES RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX
(WITHOUT THE PRICE TAG)$2499.99 usd

DELTA 5 PRO is the ultimate package of performance, accuracy, and custom features that are rarely found on a production bolt gun. This bolt gun bridges the gap between basic platforms and more expensive, custom builds. So, whether you’re a weekend shooter looking to improve your long-range capabilities for the thrill and fun, or a more seasoned competitor looking to improve your custom rig, the DELTA 5 PRO is a firearm that will grow with your capabilities. Guaranteed to shoot sub half MOA and one of the first production rifles to feature Area 419’s ARCA Rail, this serious competition-ready firearm comes without the hefty competition price tag.

0.5 MOA ACCURACY GUARANTEE
Daniel Defense DELTA 5 PRO rifles are guaranteed to shoot 0.5 MOA or less at 100 yards when used with quality factory match-grade ammunition. How can we make such a claim? Because we’ve done the work and the testing to back it up. It’s not just talk; it’s not bravado. It’s science backed up by data. Data that says, “If we can do it, so can you.” Guaranteed.

MODULAR, COMPETITION-READY CHASSIS FOR ALL
The DELTA 5 PRO Chassis System is engineered for long-range-precision shooters looking for a competition-ready firearm right out of the box, with built-in features that will ensure peak performance while eliminating the need for a gunsmith and the added cost of aftermarket parts.

FULL-LENGTH ARCA RAIL TO MAXIMIZE YOUR OPTIONS
Integral to the chassis, the locking system extends the entire length of the forend. The one-piece design increases rigidity on the RRS compatible system.

ULTIMATE MUZZLE BRAKE PERFORMANCE
Area 419 HELLFIRE Muzzle Brake – Manufactured from heat treated 17-4 PH Stainless Steel with rearward facing ports for the ultimate in recoil reduction and muzzle rise mitigation.

FULLY ADJUSTABLE STOCK THAT FITS YOU.
The Comb/Cheek piece is adjustable for height and yaw. The knob has a knob/spring vice that makes for ease of adjustment, holding the setting in place when released. A c-clip is included, which allows the user to secure the comb’s height. Integral set screws allows the user to set the height to a semi-permanent position

INTERCHANGEABLE BARREL THAT WILL OUTLAST THE COMPETITION
Nothing will outlast this threaded DELTA 5 PRO barrel. Forged to contour from a proprietary steel blend, swapping a barrel is easy with no need for a gunsmith. Cerakote finish ensures protection from the elements. Muzzle is manufactured with 5/8-24” TPI. (.308 – 1:10” Twist / 6.5 Creedmoor – 1:8” Twist / 6mm Creedmoor – 1:7.5” Twist).

I'd call it a rich man's Savage 110 Elite Precision. Double the price for a slightly nicer action.

No mention at all of the trigger in the written copy. Any word on if it's a Rem 700 compatible trigger?

I dunno why anyone would spend $2500 USD on one of these when you could get a GAP PPR or whatever MPA's "production legal" rifle is called for the same price. The latter 2 basically being custom guns that just so happen to be fit the PRS' parameters for production class...

i have bought the regular DD DELTA 5 308. It is very accurate and well made but is no more accurate than my CTR 308 24 in barrel. Cant recommend paying double the price for the same performance. YMMV

Performance of a rifle is based on much more than just its precision.

However, I will agree with rugbydave that this specific rifle isn't the best value proposition compared to others.

Fair enough but if you dont have precision the rest wont be very usefull

Thankfully many modern rifles are pretty precise.

They are but sometimes paying for the name can cost to much for nothing.

This is the best example i can give, both my FNAR competition 308 are MOA rifle with one that is sub MOA.
Also now prohibited, my KAC SR25 could never achteve MOA on a regular basis.

You can buy 3 FNAR for the price of a SR25. Yep.

The KAC is not designed for ultimate precision.

If you are buying a KAC SR25 to try and get the most precise semi-auto, then you are doing it wrong.

A fine example that there's more to a rifle than just precision. I wouldn't take a FNAR competition to a war zone.

Get the right tool for the right job.

After shooting both my FNAR and my SR25 extensively, i agree, i would not take the FNAR for combat but i would choose my sub MOA FNAR if i had one shot and one follow for anything else any day of the week. The FNAR is still the best kept secret in the world of SA rifles
