New Derya Mk10

Just bought a Derya Mk10, liked what I've read/viewed about them so decided to give one a try. Disassembled it completely for a thorough cleaning (factory oil coating is very heavy/sticky), and reassembled it with the optional folding stock setup. Now just need to break it in with some heavy 3" 00 buck.

Yours seems to be the new'ish one as well. I'm going to be trying Estate 2 3/4" 00 Buck once the long weekend is over and the woods are clear of ATVs again.
 
Hope to get out with it in the next day or so for break-in with those heavy loads, and then see how it runs with some light 2 3/4 target shells.

I use Estate 00 buck in mine works great no issues at all.

I don't know why people say target load is an issue I haven't had any using 2 3/4" shells.

P.S. nothing marked on 'em, what are the 3 optional chokes that come with this thing? The door breacher is cylinder bore I know, but not sure what the other 3 are.

The 3 chokes are likely IC, M and F... Are there notches on the end of the tubes?

This is correct, buy Carlstons chokes WAY better!

Well damn, learn something new everyday- thanks! So it seems the 3 additional chokes are Modified (3 notches), Full (1 notches) and Cylinder (5 notches).

The breacher brake is also a cylinder choke, so I read in another topic where I asked.
I used a sharpy to mark the chokes so I can know which is which out of the firearm at a glance.
Glad the Estates work well. Grabbed 2 boxes of target 7.5 to try out after the 00, just for the heck of it.

Carlston Benelli Mobil Chokes, Carlston is the brand Benelli Mobil is the type ; )
 
I've had one a couple of months now. No issues cycling anything I've put in it, I do pick up a lot of the federal "top gun" target shells (for cheap as **** shooting fun) and it's cycled them perfectly.

The only complaint is the finicky magazine loading issues, you can lock the thing up tight if you try to load it like an AR with the bolt closed. I keep finding myself with a stuck shotty, but pretty sure it's just a learning curve thing, I have to stop slapping the magazine after I get it in there...just habit. The rails don't line up, so a red dot is what I ended up putting on it.

My grandfather used to say "the only thing you ever buy from turkey is a rug", but I kinda like this shotty.

Thanks for the tip on the mags, have a habit of slapping them in there too once they're seated. Re Turkey, I think some would be surprised how many shotguns are made in Turkey these days, even domestic brands. I also have a Winchester SXP Marine Defender and "Made in Turkey" prominently stamped on the barrel - and it works fine.

I think if the bolt is back you can seat them pretty hard, but it's that extra second to check if the bolt is back or not...

I have a scorpio shotgun that works fine, and I think those are turkey-made as well. I just had to evict some turkeys (haha) from one of my apartments, so not overly fond of the word right now. Might even ruin Thanksgiving this year ;)

There is no issues seating mags long as the bolt is pulled back.

Sounds like you have one of the earlier models. Rails on the ones I've seen lately line up properly. I've had no issues putting in a mag on a closed bolt either but haven't tried it with 3" dummies as I don't have any. Only thing I did notice that was off was that removing a mag with the bolt held back releases the bolt. Doesn't do it with an empty mag, only one that still has a round left in it.

Hmm, wonder if there's a way to find out what version I have, it's only a month old, and one of the red ones, fresh off the truck, but who knows how long it floated around the atlantic before that.

A lot of the black and camo ones have the full bottom rail as well as the lower top rail. Also the breach brake can be camo or color matched. Newest models seem to be 18.5" and have a different brake.
