New Dlask Flash Suppressors

Well I looked through three or four threads and most of the "questioning" was by people that didn't own one. Most of the posts by actual owners were positive....including yours....

:D:D:D

Did I say I had a problem with any of Dlasks stuff?? Other than the out of spec magwells and rails, they are adequate fun guns, nothing more.

You retards should start reading instead of trying to be smartasses.
LOL Go look at the Dlask DAR701 threads, plenty of "questioning" there.

Your post was ambiguous. I thought you were trying to point me to threads that questioned the quality of Dlask's products.

I merely posted what I found. It's the best I can do for a mentally challenged smartass...:runaway:

This is one long advertisement, seriously.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.................. who here has bought an XB1 since this all began?

Curious. :)

man some of you guys make me laugh... so it's not ripping someone off if I make something that looks IDENTICAL to their product as long as its 0.005" different in OD? Awesome.

Psst... here's a hint. Ripping off someone's ideas - regardless of how well your knock off is - shows you to be an asshat.

well im just saying i agree with Clobbersauras with not so meny words ... and i think it is a contest...:D ....as for the quality of dlask work is good ... lowers are just as good as any other ... and since we cant get flashhiders ect.. from the south and the stat of our economic down turn i say buy local .....
p.s.
darkarcher 1 kako911 0...:D

well, i had discussions with Ron Smith today and he is having his marketting agent for foreign sales contact me directly. Due to thier military commitments they are limited as to civillian sales period regardless of which side of the border one happens to be on. I'll gather all the pertinent info and will endeavor to get genuine smith products into my inventory. I'm not holding my breath, but the wheels are turning.

Ron admits he is aware of the copies that exist , primarily in the U.S. but canada as well. They are definately a sore spot for him, however, he made no mention of pursuing any canadian companies for patent infringement.

On the Dlask side , some of you are obviously , anti dlask and will argue your point till yer purple. Due to customer demand ...the guy pops off a couple of "clones" of item items you can't get here as a civillian and all of a sudden it's like someone is slaughtering your first born ......... fair enough, I can accept that and move on peacefully hehehe

For those of you who are reading this thread who are of the open minded type, Dlask is a top notch manufacturer and one of the few in canada capable of doing what he does. I have personally known dozens and dozens of M14 owners ... and AR owners who use his brakes and flashiders with no complaints.... and more often than not ... praise. 20 years in this industry and still thriving ought to tell you something. I have zero qualms taking my original designs to Dlask and having them manufactured as I know the skill set and craftsmanship of the folks i am dealing with. i have taken many things there throughout R&D and prototyping and have never felt or experienced Joe "ripping off" any ideas I've had.
While in a perfect world nothing would get copied..... if it's out there and it's quality.... the consumer in the end decides.

Its not a contest.
If you have no pertinent information to post...

Keep walking.

Get off your high horse, since when do you need to have "pertinent information" to post on CGN.:jerkit: Honestly I wouldn't mind if a few more mods resigned their commissions here...

To be safe here's some pertinent info, its all moot if KAC, Troy, Smith and others don't have patents out in Canada.

KevinB you work for KAC, do they have patents in Canada? Your link above was broken so I couldn't tell if it was for Canada or the U.S.

If they don't have patents in Canada DLASK can legally (and I would argue morally) make and sell his goods in Canada.

I think you may find US patents are enforceable under NAFTA in Canada...

Hey may dad and grandfather where the lawyers in the family...

However Peter -- just think how you'd feel if we "borrowed" your suppressor designs and started selling them, mean hey they are good, why should we in the US be without.

I have been on the sidelines for this one, but I could not help myself after reading this.

So let me get this straight, firearms patents are enforceable under NAFTA, but we can not export firearms and components under NAFTA because of US State Dept. rules? I love how this seems very one sided...

Maybe if BOTH the patents and the components were applicable and available in Canada we would not being having this conversation. :D

Again, Kevin, its not about our 'feelings' is it? A guy can be ticked off and still not have a case.

Also, how do you think it makes us 'feel' not being able to import a lot of stuff that we used to quite legally? Answer: it doesn't matter ...
