I don't want to toot our own horn here but I absolutely love this 147gr ammo.

Was firing it through a Glock, Sig, and two Shadows this week and it's very smooth shooting. A nice push back rather than the snappiness of the lighter bullets. Less perceived recoil and less flinch.

$319.99 for a case of 1000 rounds with FREE shipping.

Canadian made powder and bullets, loaded in Canada.

Free shipping isn't free! Having said that, they are due for a good sale! 147 gr 9mm isn't that common and is great stuff, this is reloads though so should be cheaper!

Hate to say it also but that price does seem to be abit high for reloads. Especially when factory can be found for $250 per 1000. But that’s for 124gr, not 147gr. Never shot 147gr, can’t justify $100 difference. If you brought the price down to $300 I can see you selling a lot.

Yep, even allowing a $1 per box more for 147 vs 124 these would need to be less in order to catch my interest. ....maybe something like regular pricing at $319 shipped with occasional sales pricing at $299?

Not trying to dump on Canada Ammo but just my perspective as a regular buyer of commercially reloaded ammo from various sources. $300/case shipped is pretty much my benchmark for buying bulk 9mm.

Pretty expensive for reloads. Factory ammo can be found for cheaper...

Yes, but ultra cheap foreign "factory" ammo often seems to be of lesser quality than small batch commercial reloads made in Canada. I read far more complaints about bargain brand 'factory" ammo than I do about commercially reloaded ammo from the various Canadian reloaders.

My only question here is why the pricing is higher than other Canadian makers of reloaded 147gr 9mm.

Instead of complaining about the price of ammo I started loading my own. Good on Canam for providing a new product, probably one that was requested somewhere on CGN to begin with.

Is federal consired ''cheap foreing factory''

The price is competitive compared to Centaure 147 and other quality reloads. Add in 50 boxes at $ 1-$ 2 per box for the brass and it's $ 300 or less. If all you want is bang then ya there's cheaper stuff on the market.

Centaure 147gr is $319/1000 with free shipping where I bought it last.

Nice of you to tell CanAm how to run their business. Perhaps you should open your own ammo stores and try to make a living.
If you don't like the price then don't buy it. Do you really think they need your advice?

Wow, a long line of people waiting to kick a man's dog. And in his own yard too.

Sales feedback is realized in the ledger and adjusted accordingly.

You're right in the sense that this discussion would be more appropriate in the Ammo forum. The points raised remain valid though.

I have been a customer of Canada Ammo in the past and I expect I will be again..... just not for this ammo at $350/case unless I can be convinced it's in some way superior to the competition.

If my earlier posts were inappropriate I apologize......Canada Ammo is of course able to delete them from their forum.

sales feedback can also be provided by the push back when something is announced/launched. proof is in the pudding when the ledger shows exactly what the push back was about.

and are there reloads? my understanding is that CanAm bought some equipment that loads ammunition, but this could be new brass, not fired, making it 'new' and 'factory', as it were, would it not?

I would expect price for 9mm in 147 grain to be competitive against 45 Auto and it's 230 grain load pricing.

Really? Commercially reloaded 230gr .45acp seems to run around $23/box when I've bought it by the case lot. 147gr 9mm is more like $15.95/box of 50.

Your point that this might be "new" ammo made with unfired brass is valid. CA should clarify if that is the case.

This ammo is more expensive to manufacture.

We are committed to everyday low pricing however.

I have found the aforementioned ammo which retails for less and have adjusted our price.

Ammo is made with once fired brass, Canadian made bullets and Canadian made powder.
