Just recd my new grizzly and this time around is has a cheapo plastic trigger guard, whats with that? Do all the new ones have that?? I know the norcs dont

It's probably less likely to break than the metal one.

yeah i got mine brand new a week or so ago, and was suprised that it had a plastic gaurd as well, since i heard they were made of metal... oh well it seems like pretty decent plastic

my 8.5 is plastic. never heard of one breaking. i have been told of metal ones breaking though.

It's been some time now. How are thoes plastic trigger guards holding up? Any other complaints?

well mine bounces around a lot and no broken trigger guard yet. i had a shell retainer come un staked but not really a big deal.
