*** New Double Action Hi Power ***

I don't like the way these guns look all chunky and squared off compared to a real BHP.

I always figured that part of the appeal of the BHP was that it's a single action service pistol that isn't just another 1911. If you want something that feels similar in the hand to a BHP but has a DA trigger, get a CZ or clone.

You must remember that all magazines need advertising, said advertising and sponsorship is themed as the magazines. You don't write that your advertisers products are junk.

I handled one about 3 years ago at SIR Winnipeg; coarsely made and very rough edges, drenched in oil, lumpy rubber grips another big turn off. To me, even lower grade than the Norinco quality back then (Norinco has improved their quality considerably ever since).

It was not worth the price either. I think the original price was around $550-600. They did not move after about 6 month and they dropped to $479 and later $379 for a special event. I could not justify even paying $379 for it.

Oh wow
I really like the looks of that!
