New dumb RPAL old PAL question

I recently recieved my restricted fire arms licence (that was an experience). I've had my non restricted licence for a while now and would need to renew it in 2012.

My new licence they sent me expires in 2016. On the back it lists both restricted and non restricted under possesion and acquisition. My question is will i still need to renew my non restricted licence in 2012 or does the new licence with the new date mean they both expire in 2016?
 
An RPAL is an add-on to your PAL. In theory, you'll get a renewal notice several months in advance. New licence being the key. However, it's your responsibility.
