What a joke, $1995 with the folding mechanism! Seriously! These guys must be working with the same team putting together the ACR. CNC machining is supposed to make everything cheaper isn't it? How can NEA put together an entire AR for half the price? Don't get me wrong I think the system is extremely slick, but value in any way it is not. Disappointed. I'll pass thank you.

Compared to the garden variety rifle stocks that are out there, the Stealth may seem expensive. And we make no apology that this chassis is not for everyone. Simply put, it is what it was meant to be, and is quite expensive to make. Cut out of billets of aluminum, we achieve great accuracy through a considerable amount of time spent by each and every part on state-of-the-art milling machines, cut to exacting tolerances.

That price is without the folder or rail ready front tube. Way more when you add rails and a folder;) I could get two XLR chassis with rails and folders and a select match grade barrel for the price of that one:eek:
 
$1895 for the chassis
$100 for the hinge
Rails extra depending on what you want

But there's a certain percentage of guys who will pay anything, so why not make the same profit on lower volume.
