picked up a project FTRno4 from a fellow cgn'r 45Beargun and started messin around with some unissued wood I had laying around, the forend was bent and cracked when I received it so I didn't feel too bad chopping it down. Trying to find a good source for some walnut slabs to make a propper top handguard and cheek riser, If anyone in the west could point me in the right direction for a source that would be greatly appreciated.
Still lots of work to be done but happy with the 2" goups I managed with my crappy eyes.

Almost forgot about this project.. nearly done now after a few months of working up hand loads shes finally just over MOA averaging 1" - 1.25" five shot groups with speer 150's seated -0.10" over 42 grains of Varget in PPU necked cases.
Picked up an AIA teak buttstock with a cheek riser and stained everything a custom mixed ###y chocolate with SAMAN hybrid based stain and varnish.
Scope mount is what maybe called a sunoptics garbage brand, but pleasantly surprising with see through peep relief. Wish I could have found a proper parker hale base.
Found a target sling loop and a vintage bushnell banner fixed 6X to top her off from my last gun show. Next stop propper bedding job for her chamber\recoil lug.
