New extended magazine made in Canada for bolt actions, and the challenges!

For the old BLR magazine, would there be enough room in the magwell for a 3D printed magazine?
- I seem to remember the sheet-metal mag being somewhat of a tights fit

I strongly suspect it's a no go for such small space. Older or newer BLR both.
However something like the X Bolt rifle magazine probably lends itself very well to this material and space of magwell.
