So I was reading over on Sniper Central about the new Falcon Menace 5.5-25x56 FFP that's coming down the pipe. Do any of our Canadian dealers have any idea when we'll be seeing them here? Preliminary pricing?

Yes. We were waiting until we actually had the sample in our hands to announce it. We should have it next week. Production models will be available as soon as April/May.

We are still waiting for full specs on them, but will post them as soon as they are available.

Pricing will be in the $500 range.

Supposedly they are changing the scopes to a 1-piece unit instead of having the bell housing a separate piece, as well as they are changing the turret caps to have a better adjustment on them.

Some good changes from Falcon!

The 5.5-25x56FFP is based on the 4-14x44FFP, which was always one piece.

The two piece 4.5-18x56 has never been a problem for us. There were a couple of isolated cases which caused panic among those looking for something to complain about. The newer 4.5-18x56 coming out later this year will be one piece.

There's now a review in the forums at Snipercentral. It looks really, really good. The glass is supposed to be a step above anything else that Falcon has put out.

MOA/MOA will be incorporated into one of the lines, not sure which one yet, but it won't happen until the Fall probably.

I received another update on the 5.5-25 today:

- definitely a one piece tube
- It will be offered in a 56mm and 50mm objective
- They will likely be available in May instead of April (they are incorporating some suggestions from dealers into the production run, so it might take an extra month)
- Pricing is still going to be around $500, likely a bit on the plus side.

We are very impressed with the progress so far on this. Falcon has sent test scopes out and has received a lot of feedback, which they are incorporating into the production model. We are still waiting for our test scope to arrive, but I am sure from reading some of the feedback that we won't have much to add. I will post some pics as soon as it gets here. Hopefully it will be nice enough out to take it out for a shoot and see how it performs.

Right now it looks like the first batch will be all MRAD turrets.
