Nice indeed. I can envision one with a 1-4 Leup in QD mounts !

Neither heard nor read .... "saw" ... complete with order numbers.

Sorry, but can't reveal exactly "where", yet.
Definitely not "heresay" or a magazine source. More precise.
The 350 Rem Mag is 20" bbl. with sights. New order No. 26369.
Mag holds 3 + 1 in Chamber. 39" overall - A tad over 7lbs.
LOP 13-3/8 - parallel comb 1-1/4" nominal drop.

Expect you may hear/read more AFTER the S.H.O.T. Show !

that CDL M7 350 Mag sounds like a winner. a more perfect moose, elk, and bear rifle may never have been built :)

the new Sendero II in 264 got my attention (7 RUM interests me none), but I already have a custom 260 that is like a mini Sendero (23" stainless fluted tube), and it shoots pretty fast as-is, 95 gr. Vmax @ 3315 fps. :D I dont do enough long range hunting to warrant the purchase of a Sendero type rifle (figured this out last year and sold my Sendero 7mm Rem Mag and a LSS 338 Ultra).

thanks for the info Berreta Boy

Pleasure.

Couldn't agree more. The M7 in .350 Mag should do all that and work pretty nice for Elk too ! Remingtom may have gotten this one right. Loaded down, it could make a pretty neat little deer rifle for the thick spots too.

Yep, the .260 will do it just fine. Same reasoning - sold my .264 (to a sheep hunter in the Yukon) and went to .25-06. Love them V-Max. Glad to have seen elsewhere your recommendations on the FoxPro & Chargemaster.

Thank you !

I have a gut feeling that the 350 rem mag model 7 will sell like hotcakes up here.

Mark my words, this is the first time Remington has excited me about anything.
I'll be buying one for sure when they're available.
But... its getting a scout mount, and a 2-6 pistol scope.

Beretta boy, I got 75 gr vmax's over 58 gr's of H4350 out of both of my 25-06's (well traded one off a few months ago, so Im down to one)
Out of my tikka, they shoved em into .75. Not bad for a starting load. I havent shot anything other than 117gr BTSP's (over 52 gr's of 4831, but dont quote me) out of my M77, but preliminary testing tells me it will shoot better than the Tikka did.
And just a cunny hair under 3800 FPS... they're screamers.

basically yes. My hunting load fires a 110 gr. Accubond @ 3175 fps, and that's about what a 25-06 will do. Most loads use 2-3 grains less powder than a 25-06.

What powder and how many grains T/B?
I am using BLC-2 with 110 accubonds (moly coat) in the 25WSSM... I have gone as high as 43.2 grains and hit 3150fps. No pressure signs at all and they are still shooting sub moa, I could possibly hit 3200fps with the 110 accubond.
I know its a hijack...

HiJack on

53.0 grs. H4831sc = 3177 fps avg.

I think if I put alot of H1000 or RL25 behind it I could hit 3250-3300, but pressures would be close if not at 60,000 psi+ RL15 or Varget could probably meet 3175 fps with 45ish grains

3175 fps is plenty :D

I had a new M7 CDL in my hands this week at a local gun emporium - REALLY LIKED IT! I might have to buy one in 350.

Hey a lightweight 350 rem mag bolt gun with a 20" tube and rifle sights - oh wait they built em already - 40 years ago. Most #####ed about em and didn't buy em by the thousands - the 660 magnum model. I got mine and love it. Here's a pic (with after market steel bottom metal).
