I ordered mine today, looks like it may be awhile before they get out to the dealers though.
Plan on getting another Premier Reticles scope, Have had them make custom reticles in Leupold scopes with a dot for every 50 yards to 300.
Now if I can take the wait !!

Mine and other orders never made it into the mail as they quickly discovered they were breaking the export rules.

However I have recently learned there will be a source of 300 Whisper factory ammo in Canada shortly. I talked to the manufacturer at SHOT and have been assured this will be 220gr subsonic designed to cycle an AR. This will be EU made ammo so no issues with ITAR or US State Department BS.

The SAAMI spec. is 1:8" twist. AAC, Remington, Bushmaster, DPMS, and others plan to use 1:7" at this point for additional stability as a precaution for +240gr. bullets while shooting subsonic in supressor applications.

Won't mean much to us other than having more flexibility. Being able to use the full spectrum of .30 cal. bullets in one chambering has great appeal. I'm perfectly happy with my 1:8" Shilen barrel and don't feel 1:7" is necessary for my purposes.

AAC, Remington, Bushmaster, DPMS are all the same company thats why they are all doing the same thing.

^^^ I realize that. Other manufacturers are going with the 1:7" while some are continuing with 1:8".
