Sorry, it makes no difference. Shorter barrels are inherently stiffer than longer and thus have less whip or barrel harmonics. Now that's a significant factor in rifles, less so in handguns as the barrel length from full size to sub compact is marginal and the distances shot are very short by comparison. If you think you're gaining velocity with longer barrel and thus less drop. Then you're dreaming. The velocity gain is negligible and the amount of difference in drop at typical handgun distances is not detectable in human hands.
