New for 2021: Mossberg International Gold Reserve

I may be one of the only shooters in Canada to own one. Purchased private sale. I just just looked it up on the side of the barrel and the firearm is made in Turkey by Khan/Kayhan. I shoot mostly skeet and when I tried out this firearm on a trap field, I shot 13/15 and that convinced me right away. The butt and comb are fully adjustable and overall it's a great looking firearm. In fact, when it was sitting in the gun rack, it had lots of eyes looking at it and a few a few shooters asked to handle it. Naturally, I complied. It comes with a bunch of chokes and uses Benelli Mobil chokes if you're looking for more chokes. Many shooters turn their nose up at firearms made in Turkey. Keep in mind that Mossberg has been around for over 100 years and that says something about the specs they require from offshore manufacturers. Don't knock the stuff from Turkey until you own it. My only wish about this shotgun is that it has ejectors instead of extractors. Otherwise, it's a beauty and functions very well. When the supply chain fills the retailers shelves, I think it will be very well received by the shooting community. I'm happy I purchased it and intend to shoot it for many years to come.

Dave and others shooters not to pee on your boots but it a mediocre gun a best designed to sell at a price point .
There is know quality or longevity 13 out of 15 is good shooting but when you go to a tournament and shoot 985 out of a 1000 then your on your game
All this being said it’s fine for the novice shooter and great ghat there are guns like this for that crowd but it is not a gun of workmanship

Thanks for the info, I checked Irunguns before my post as they don’t carry the super sport model, shooters choice does have it listed but is out of stock. I contacted a gun shop in Steinbach and they can order it in for me for what appears $150 over msrp. Both Mossberg and shooter choice list that this model does have ejectors for this model, but never know until it arrives. Like the SXP I picked up from Cabela’s said it has a fibre optic sight but came with a brass bead- they offered a $100 off and was on sale already win-win.
