New for 2026 - Nightforce NX-6

I see them available since this week. I am interested in the FFP 3-18. Wonder if id be wasting time coming from a NX8. The 6 is 1 oz lighter, 1/2’’ longer and have a thicker reticle. I like the NX8 i just find the parallax finicky.

Personally, I quite like the 8x zoom system the NX8 offers, but the NX6 offers some magnifications not available in the NX8 line. The price difference is also not much higher on the NX8. I could not see massive differences in glass quality, and weight is fairly similar too. I think the above post #22 sums it up pretty well.

Lance is the man - he does load development for a LOT of custim rifles (not just his). As a concequence, he has actually shot through just about every every upper tier optic that one could name.

His is a well considered opinion
