It's interesting how the barrel band fully encompasses the barrel unlike the factory one.

Yeah, that barrel band caught my eye too! I may have to talk to Casey over at Tactical Ordinance and see if this is something he can put together...

Does that pistol grip adapter look like an Mesa to you? And is that rail attached to it? It looks like it to me. I'm going to have to build one like this for sure now... Damn you, Sawed Off, for posting those pics!!!

Yeah thats the Idea I had, but on the dlask forstock, so it would stick out to the side some.

It's not the Mesa Tactical adapter, but close. Its contours are quite different and I haven't seen it elsewhere.

AS far as the strap goes on my 8.5
'Dlask I got a small stainless washer and screw and folded the strap along side the rail and put the screw through the strap and into the rivet in the rail . Problem solved and it really doesn't look that bad

Finally installed

The forend is a very nice piece of kit -very sturdy and tight fitting. I am impressed.The surfire can be activated by my forefinger knuckle - no wire and switch needed.
