New Forum?? Rimfire pistols ??

I've never had a problem asking about rimfire in the Pistol forum, don't see the need for a rimfire pistol forum. I'd suggest renaming Rimfire to Rimfire Rifle, and amending the description on Pistol to include .22 in someway.
 
Just wasted 10 minutes reading this thread,,,,and writing this,, I think a better use of the web mods time is to make the search function easier to use for computer illiterate guys like me, I usually don't have much trouble on other sites finding things but it seems on this site I get about 25% luck! It is not that the info isn't there , even when I know I read something I can't seem to bring it back up!
If it was more friendly it may reduce the amount of recycled questions and answers. I very much appreciate the info given by knowledgeable People on this site and do not want to Pi$$ them off by asking a question that has been covered before!!

Speaking the truth!
One very simple change that could easily be implemented would be to simply change the default search period to 3 years instead of 2 weeks. I see lots of people, especially newbies, that dont even notice that option when searching, consequently making their search unsuccessful.
 
I don't understand how its confusing for people. Sure its a rimfire, but its a pistol so it goes in the pistol section. Most people that have pistols in 9mm or .45 also have at least one or two .22 pistols. It would just spread out the posts even further and would probably be slow.

Simple change, but never done. I don't get it. Forum setup guys doing what they are doing ensures newbies never see what they are looking for and helps create the endless stream of repeated threads.

I vote for the above as well. I've had good luck with rimfire pistol questions in the pistol forum.
