Definately interested! I don't suppose anyone can get a source for the "Paratrooper" stock? ( I know the US won't let these out of country if they come with these stocks)

note that there IS a paratrooper version, at least for the u.s. market.

IIRC the old carbines with the paratrooper folding stock were just under 26".

With the 19" barrel the OAL with a paratrooper stock should be 26".

I'm under the impression that .30 cal isnt great, in terms of its ballistics .

On the other hand the m1 carbine has a combat history and heritage the mini14 will never have.

It's a 115g bullet going somewhere around 2000fps I believe, so it's comparable to a 357magnum, a little less powerful though but not much
