firearmstraining.ca (east of Ottawa) is a good place to get the training and or get tested. Dave is a class act with no BS. He did my son's training and set up the testing.

I'm from the West end near "the prior" (Arnprior)

But you will have to follow a course on law9 since its in Quebec,
and you cant shot restricted if there is no RO.
I would stick to the Ont. side for now. EOHC is a great place.
might see you there one of these days.

that must be a scary course to take, the good news is we offer both course at the club.
 
Welcome aboard. Another eastern Ontario lad here too. This thread seems to be identifying eastern Ontario gun nutz. Perhaps we need an Ottawa gun nutz shoot!

We've had them before, usually at EOHC.
Just need organizers with memberships at EOHC.
