Have received my new FTR build from Xtreme Gun Shooting Canter in Winnipeg

Stock - Their own build in house, extremely light and very nicely finished.
Action - Kelbly Panda FTR in .308
Trigger - Jewel BR
Rings - Kelbly bead blasted
Barrel - Krieger Heavy Panda 1-10 twist finished to 32 inches
Scope - Nighforce BR
US Optics Bubble level
Waiting for new Joy Pod to finish off build. Should be here some time this winter.

Sourced everything except scope and rings level and Bi Pod from Jason at Xtreme Guns Shooting Center. Great guy to deal with and was quick on being able to find some hard to source items. Gunsmithing was taken care of by Lyle.

Beautiful looking rifle can't wait until the new shooting season starts in May to put it to work.

Nice!!!! What is final weight?

Lyle is Lyle from Ultimate Accuracy north of Winnipeg. How do you like the new limb saver recoil pad? Have you played with adjustable grip position? I still have a set of Kelbly rings on Exchange for this rail. Black anodized otherwise exactly the same. If you make it south to a Scheels they have a rubberized finger groove grip for around $15.00. Can't remember name though. Not MagPul.

Like the limb saver. Have not really done any playing yet with the adjustments. The pistol grip is going to be the next thing that I will be looking for over the winter. Thanks for the info on Lyle. The weight is 15lbs 9oz. Lots of room for a bipod and heavier pistol grip

it is my understanding it is not a direct copy of a dolphin, and they are not under license just like dolphin is not under license to produce the GBR that the guy in montana bought the rights to the intellectual property under the old company's demise, just to be clear. and the gunsmith is linkatis from around winnipeg just north, not sure how fast the turnaround is for lyle's work thesedays

Nice build ! As it happens, I am just writing up a review on this chassis and Extreme's bipod. Jayson is a very nice fellow to deal with.

To the OP great looking build thanks for sharing your end result. What bipod you using?

Tomochan coincidentally.....:) Working on a long term and short term video review. I have a few things put together and reviewing the stock fit a finish.

Yeah, I do know that Hirsch has them, the reason his are such a good price is because they are the old model with the different check rest. From what heard he will not be getting any of the new ones in as dolphin is only using Wolvrine as a dealer now.

Also Dolphin does not make them to fit the panda action, which I really wanted

Finally got to start working up a load. This seems like a pretty good start. 5 shot group at 200yrds. I don't think too bad using full length resized brass 44.4gn varget and berger 185 juggernauts. ES-24, SD-9.3 average is 2787fps. Now that I have some fire formed brass start working on neck tension.

Hopefully get some more nice days like today

Finally received the last pieces to complete my build, got my Seb Joy Pod and decided if I was going this far might as well upgrade the scope to the NF Competition . Now cant wait for the snow to melt and get out shooting and see all the guys on the range.
