Hi Folks,

I just received my G19X today, and I'm quite happy with it so far!

I was looking at the mags, and they seem to be single stack 10 round mags. I guess their Canada legal made, with no rivets or pins.

Out of curiosity, is this a single stack only pistol, or are those just Canada legal mags?

Thanks!

I ordered some with the base plates from IRG when he was running a "promo". Wait for a holiday sale if you can?

They are double stack, probably just internally blocked.

It goes to 10, and looks pretty single stacky to me.

Any issues with the single stacks?

It’s fairly stiff, not going to lie.

The mag loader comes in handy. I’m pretty hopeful that it will slack off though a bit.

If I were to buy more mags for the g19x, would they be single stacks as well?

Leave your mags fully loaded for a couple of weeks to compress the spring, i have the same single stack mags for my G19 and they were tight as well.

Not Single Stack. Pop open the bottom and check to be sure. All my Glock mags are California Comp. 10Rnders which is what we Canadians get. The Cotoye mags that came with my 19x were also double. Never owned a standard capacity mag to compare the internals to but I imagine the follower and spring are what max out at 10 rounds. 10 round follower has a different sku than a standard capacity mag. In time the spring will lose stiffness. Mine are old af and the 10th round still puts up a fight so I’d just work out your thumbs or use a loader. Better to have a weak finger than a weak spring. Leaving them loaded does nothing. Science proves this.

I have both models: 10 and 10/15. The metal insert in the 10 have a spine on each side, making these magazines behave like single stack in a double stack polymer body. The 10/15 inserts are smooth

On my factory 10 rounders I just remove the inner locking plate (it's not really necessary as the side tabs lock the base plate in place just fine) and shave a couple of millimeters off of the follower legs.
