Hi all..

I just found a stainless Y 16 here to bring home after the new year...For those who have them, any tricks or tips to help them run better ? Happy New Year !...R...

I found the Turkish recoil spring to be a bit light and replaced that right away. Other then that good to go.

Spring kits are good to have around regardless. My regard had a great recoil spring out of box. Given the trigger weight it already felt d spring'ish, and didn't bother swapping it.

My girsan trigger is better than the Wilson combat short reach trigger I got to replace it! Don't bother with that either. A wolf trigger return spring didn't work, it wouldn’t reliably reset the trigger.

Swap the recoil spring tuning to ammo you're shooting and call it good. I have mine lubed with slip 2000 ewg on rails and it works excellent.

I have a standard full size, railed compact, both in black. I'd really like a standard compact in the matte stainless...only seem to have the polished ones here.

I have a compact with no rail and find it has a perfect balance and lools great. I didn't change anything on it. It's a great guns just shoot and enjoy!!

I also have a 92fs Inox and tried using Beretta mags in but they don't get along well. Lol

I have one (Well it's my daughters) with several thousand rounds through it, runs like a champ, mec gar mags work without issues, have not have the same experience with promags, if you get aftermarket grips you will have to slot out one of the holes very slightly to fit over the grip screw bushings, not sure why they are different but the 3 that I have dealt with were all the same, very minor detail. Congrats on the new gun!!

I have the 92fs, it can work under any conditions, but I named it my « little Pussy ») , because it works even better when it’s well lubbed .... ;)

same for my 1911, my « Dirty Girl »

One thing I like about the design is the very straight feeding from the mag to chamber. Never have to worry about HP hanging up.
