Got a black friday deal on a CVA wolf and looking for what to put on it now. Im cheap and have until next October so I will be going used. Max shot distance is 200y, but it'll be more like 75 in reality at my current hunting location.
First thoughts are a 2-7 Vortex Diamondback (I snagged one for $150 one time, sold it though) or a VX Freedom with the grand slam reticle? I dont think I need much power on this, drop marks would be nice as I imagine a 50cal 300gr slug will drop pretty bad out to 200. Does anyone have experience on the DOPE for these?
