New Glock 48 coming in January?

It's slimmer, nothing more.

This could be the "Malibu Stacy" of Glock pistols. They seem to be turning out different variations of their guns at a rapid rate in the last couple of years.

But never a sign of the oft rumored Glock carbine (unicorn).

Ive got my eyes set on a G26... these glock 48's almost seem like part of civil disarmament, specialty made 10 round single stack full size handguns for civilians, meh

No tinfoil hat conspiracies, the G48 and 43x are simply different offerings for the CCW market primarily.

The carbine like you said was a rumor, no more true than false. I highly doubt Glock will ever get into the long gun market.

And just to clarify:

The GLOCK 43X and the GLOCK 48 feature the design of the Slimline series with a silver slide. Chambered in 9X19mm, both pistols feature a compact Slimline frame with silver nPVD finish and a 10-round magazine capacity.

So it is not actually a stainless slide, just a coating. My apologies if this has already been stated earlier.

The Glock carbine is just like the Glock 1911, an urban legend. Just like these Glocks;

Reasonably priced Glock but if it has those terrible sights on it, it may not be worth it. I have big hands and unsure a thin grip like that would do it for me.

There are three factory sight options: standard (plastic) Glock sights; standard (steel) tritium three-dot Glock sights, and; Ameriglo (steel) tritium three-dot sights.

And there will be many (many, many, many) aftermarket sights available, because the G48 is going to be popular.

The G48 uses the same sights as the G43, so there are already very many aftermarket sights available.
