Anyone else see the rumours that Glock will be releasing a new model in January? If the leaks are true, we might be seeing a single stack version with a 106mm barrel!

Saying it might come in with a barrel length between the 17 and 19 which would be perfect for the Canadian market.

Interesting.

It's a single stack so the grip will be way more comfortable for small/average hands. Like the grip on a 43 but longer. Sounds perfect, I want one!

It's a "single" stack, but the grip width seems to be only 4mm thinner than Glock 19 Gen4 (28mm vs. 32mm), though Gen5 is 34mm in grip width (still 32mm in width if not counting the flared magwell). G48 slide width is only 3.5mm thinner (22mm vs. 25.5mm) compared to both G19 Gen4 and Gen5.

Lighter than the 19. And a few mm can make a noticable differences in some people. It is a niche gun. I have to trial it but it has my attention.

Those differences are actually substantial particularly over the circumference of the grip
