New Guide 1 in S.E. NB! Upland birds, Bear & Deer.

So I'm now licenced as a Guide 1 in New Brunswick.
We hunt bear, deer & small game and have a half decent camp (nicer than some houses I've been in!) soon to have running water, toilet, shower & sewer.
We'd like to bring in say 1 party or 2 this fall and try guiding (the hunting side is no prob just everything else with ads, contracts and payment).
Any advice from experienced guides starting off?

Since you are only looking for 1 or 2 parties, advertising in the EE here on CGN would probably be your best bet. Do you plan on doing spring bear hunts as well? I would be interested in that.
 
Oh man, I just got a twitch... too bad this didn't come up a little earlier.

I think you should edit the title of this thread, something like "Hunters wanted for my new guiding business"... or do it in the EE. You should get some bites.

Also, hit some of the other boards like Alberta Outdoorsmen, Hunt BC, etc.

Like everyone else is saying goto all of the canada outdoor forums and post it and hopefully someone will bite. After that the cheapest add in the world that works best is word of mouth. Make sure you guys have your sht together and everything will work out real quick.
 
It's a business and needs to be set up like any other business. Guiding is kind of like gunsmithing. It takes time to gain a reputation.
