not my cup of tea(I drag my guns threw the mud)......but.....Very nice what does it weigh?and what will be the max range you will shoot this too?

Jamie

I have to weigh it after the scope is on. Has to be under 10.5 lbs. Max range we shoot is 200 yds.
The stock is fiberglass and reinforced with graphite rods. The color is the way it comes from McMillan.

Those that are

into Shortrange or Point blank group shooting REQUIRE the best to be competitive. A sub MOA gun is not enough. It better shoot sub 1/4 MOA to be competitive.

Tony hopefully has a Light Varmint in his hands which cannot weigh more than 10.5 lbs fully decked out. A heavy varmint cannot weigh more than 13.5 lbs.

Distances shot are typically 100 and 200 yards. 5 groups with 5 shots per group. As many sighters can be shot as the shooter wants.

Shots down the barrel are kept to a minimum to prolong barrel life. A lot of the top US shooters will change barrels after approx 900-1000 rounds. For the average person they are still great shooters but to be competitive they are or could be past there prime agging capabilities.

Very nice Tony. Hopefully my action will be ready this month.

Tony,
Very nice kit (but needs a paint job if there is room on the scales :).
Actually looks don't count (otherwise they wouldn't let Bill G on the range)
Did you go TN ? Just got reamer in at .269 for no turn /skim turn brass.
Canada needs a 200yrd INDOOR range (close to my home) for just such players.
By the way....was kiddin Bill.

tony is away for a few days

and may return friday.

nice gun tony, too bad you did not keep that cil single shot we gave you for xmas.
it was a long wait but it is hear and customs did not bang it up but customs tape all over it.

tony will tell more saturday jeff

Just got back from Ft. Mcmurray late this afternoon. It was a slow drive until south of Marryanna lake. (sp.) Lots of snow on the road, but made it in 10 1/2 hours. I got done early and figured if I got back I can mount the scope and have everything ready for a trip to the range for saturday. I have 30 brass ready to fire form, and several lots of powder to test. Then have another bbl. to get chambered. I will give everyone a range report as soon as I can.

What Kreiger barrel is it? .236 or .237, twist, and grove.
Bill
I hate to say this, but I didn't specify and didn't ask Lester which one he put on it. As long as it shoots well I won't worry about it. I also have a light varmint taper of Mclellans that I will get chambered.
