I recieved my new CanAm Mosin 91/30 and ammo combo today, too my surprise it was a 34 Tula hex reciever. After doing a bit of digging on 7.62x54r.net it's a double date MO stamped as well. Beautiful stock with no repairs and nice shellac, rifling and bore look great as well. It's been refurbed by the looks of the mix of Tula and Izhevsk stamped parts but nothings been ###xx'd out or electro penciled. I'm sure the bolt and mag have been scrubbed and force matched but everything from the butt plate to the bayonet matches nicely unlike my sks's, can't wait to clean it up and she how she shoots. Here's a couple pics of it, glad I finally grabbed one. For the price one can't go wrong if this is the fit and finish of what they have at the moment.

Congrats , Very nice !!

Canada ammo deals are awesome , friend if mine got the same deal and received a beautiful 1939 round receiver but it look Brand new , not a mark on it and perfect stock .

Canada ammo was sold out a month or so ago and this is from the latest shipment as was my friends , I don't know where they got them from but I hope they bought a lot if they all look like this .

Great score! The one I got from Westrifle wasn't the best. Surprisingly it still shoots quite well despite being counterbored and having a frosty barrel.

Keep us posted on how it does at 100 yds.

What a great country we live in. :)
You can't do that in the other place...

Nice, I have a 1943 Mosin nagant, the barrel is in very very good condision, and I am not sure if it was issued during WW2, it was fired(had copper fouling in the barrel) and some of the blueing has came off on the barrel, mostly from having the Bayonet mounted.
