well I guess since I am posting here I am a new guy. I am on here because I kept hearing people on airsoft canada talking about it, and I wanted to look a little further into the gun laws. I have been posting around a little, an I figured I should introduce myself.
Hi I am bissa, I am eccentric or what people call crazy at times, but I should calm down soon enough. I have built a couple potato cannons (I only lit myself on fire once playing with them) and a bunch of bows. I have also gotten a chance to fire soem .22s and a 30-06 at one point (once, as in one shot, then I decided to go back to the .22s because my shoulder hurt) I have some knife knowledge. and if you are looking for help with computers, I am probably your guy, and if not, I have mastered the technique of google-foo so I can probably find a decent answer or person to forward your question to.
that is about it, hopefully I don't do too much bad during my stay, and to sum it all up... hello.

There is clinically crazy and behaving eccentricly. Having a doctor diagnose a person with mental illness is solid grounds for a temporary or permanent firearms prohibition.

As for being a smalltime oddball when it comes to firearms, the gun laws and public perception, it is wiser to behave clearly within the law to avoid casting an inintentional pall over the rest of us.

I am probably not clinically insane, just eccentric and can get far too enthusiastic about things. however, no matter how crazy what I am doing gets, safety is always first.

There's no "nice" way to say this: there are toy guns, and real guns. In here, we prefer the real ones. If you're interested in those, you've come to the right place. Welcome aboard.
 
I am well aware that a lot of gunowners are airsofters, and there is a silent portion of gunowners who came from airsoft Canada.

In fact, some of the Canadian manufacturers/dealers start off as airsofters. A few of the most respected dealers started off with a strong airsoft background, even though they do not talk about it here at CGN.

CGN official position is welcoming to anyone who is interested in firearms, whether it is airsoft or hunting that sparks off your interest in firearms.
 
well I started with real firearms when I was younger, got into bows, then paintball, then airsoft, and i am back at real guns to an extent now. I like airsoft since you can do exactly what they are designed to do (shoot each other) without having to deal with the moral or legal repercussions of killing someone.
so I have kind of worked my way up the tech ladder there. it is nice to have this kind of greeting, thank you.
