Some of the spelling, grammar and punctuation skills shown on this site sometimes makes me wonder who should be making fun of who. I've never met an American yet that didn't know the words to the Star Spangled Banner or America the Beautiful as well as the Pledge of Allegiance by heart. At the same time I can't count on one hand the number of Canadian friends and relatives that know the bilingual lyrics of Oh Canada.
Funny thing, especially on this forum, is how American patriotism is a subject of ridicule yet Canadian patriotism is applauded to the fullest extent. Such as adding the Canadian flag to AR receivers or a moose or a beaver or any other distinctive Canadian symbol.
Sure, Americans may celebrate their patriotism louder than us stoic Canucks but pride in one's heriatge shouldn't be constrained by eletist attitudes.
Just a few observations to be noted concerning your own condemnation of the grammar and spelling errors exhibited by others on this site:
". . . makes me wonder who should be making fun of whom."
"Sure, Americans may celebrate their patriotism louder than we stoic Canadians, but pride in one's heritage shouldn't be constrained by elitist attitudes."
As well, a few commas would not hurt, especially when compiling any list, such as: ". . . The Star Spangled Banner, or America the Beautiful, as well as the Pledge of Allegiance."
Or: "Such as adding the Canadian flag to AR receivers, or a moose, or a beaver, or any other distinctive Canadian symbol."

. . . stop it . . . this is too much ....
