New Henry Garden Gun, who is stocking this?

Yep henry is now making a smooth bore 22lr garden Gun....this is the rifle i was lookong for years ago for vermin like mice and pigeons in the barn or shop....i bought a ruger airhawk 455fps air rifle for pigeons back in the day for the reason that i i didn't want to shoot through Tin Roofs. The gardwn gun is specifically designed for #12 ratshot. The smooth bore increases the velocity/accuracy and power of #12 but will not penetrate metal roofing.

Mouse or pigeon pest control would be so much easier with a 22lr shotgun than a single conical airrifle pellet.

I couldnt find one so i bought a 9mm flobert. 1/4 oz of #10 shot. Tall tin roofs would likely be safe.

They would sure be handier if one could load thru the side of the receiver rather
than pizzing around with the mag tube system.

For shooting 22lr shotshells could you use a smoothbore 10/22 takedown barrel (does anyone make this kind of thing) and use it with your regular takedown action?

I really like the stock on these. Feels kind of like old barn boards. Great little rifle...........if you have a barn or arena and a pigeon problem you need this gun.
